Anyone looking at airfares right now will probably find them extremely high for October travel. This is not unusual, as there are currently no travel specials for that time of year. If you look at what is currently being offered for traveling in February and March, that should give you an idea of what you can expect for October. If you are trying to use frequent flyer miles, you may not be able to get the lower milage tickets at this times as the airlines have not yet released many seats. You may wish to monitor prices, but the best deals may not be available until mid to late summer. See below for more information.
